Default Black Electric Holley Pump(Turbo Boost)

Question?

In my Turbocharged BBO I am using a Black Electric Holley Pump with a spring fuel booster.....with the stock (new) factory intake fuel strainer...So my question or questons is...Do you guys removed the stock strainer filter with the Holley Electric pump? Does strainer interfere with Black Electric Holley fuel flow?( I am not running a inline fuel filter....because even the so call high flow filters restrict my BBO fuel demands on low boost!)

Right now I am in the process of installing 255 lph inline Walbro fuel pump(cheap ebay) to assist the black holley pump.....where my so called highflow inline fuel filter used to belong...

Try this one. There is NO WAY it will restrict your fuel flow.

i had that fuel filter (or one very similar too it) to run with my mallory pump which i couldn't use. that filter is so big, it can be mistaken for a fuel pump. i seriously doubt such a filter would restrict your flow considerably

The one you have uses -6 lines. That one has the ability to use 2 -8 lines on both the inlet and outlet. That was why I suggested that one.

Are you sure its not the crappy Holley pump not providing pressure? Personally, that would be the first thing I'd get rid of if you wanted something reliable.

Have you considered converting over to a Grand National fuel tank? For the big horsepower GN guys they have a dual Walbro intake fuel pump setup where one pump runs continuously and the other will turn on and off based on boost pressure.

I double check the Black Holley Fuel Pump and had it clean with the rebuild kit a while back....it works great on a Normal Aspirated engine.....it just.. does not give the fuel demands on the psi side to push threw... a so called high flow filter.....I have considered welding a rear sump on the fuel tank one outlet for the black holley fuel pump and one for the Walbro inline fuel pump.

As FE3X Clone eluded to, in the GN and aftermarket fuel injection world Walbro pumps are the shyte because of their flow rates and reliability. I run one in my LT1 powered Z71 and have been very happy with it.
