Re: BBO on Turbo Boost....Video!
Light tan on the plugs is the desired coloring. Is this a blow thru carb set up, or EFI? It looks like youve done a really nice job of plumbing it and setting everything else up. How do you control max boost, adjustable waste gate?
Heres a plug chart

Re: BBO on Turbo Boost....Video!
Id put the 3 psi spring in it, put good gas in it, make sure you timing is where you want it, and go give it a run. Run it thru all the gears and then pop the plugs out of it and see what the look like. Its how we did it years ago, before the O2 readers became available.
What type of ignition? is it boost refrenced(retards timing under boost)

Re: BBO on Turbo Boost....Video!
I thought you had your turbo mounted in the rear of the car? that might have been someone else or did you change it?

I use to have it rear mounted.....but its look much cooler.....when you have it upfront and do not have to worry about the electric oil pump giving out.

For now....I have a 5psi spring in the wastegate because the 9.5.1CR and stock Fel-pro headgaskets.
The ignition is a HEI pertionx that I already had on the motor...when it was normally aspirated......what I understand...there ok for low boost application...but I guess anything above 7psi...it would be a good idea to upgrade......the fuel boost refrenced is a mallory 4309 with a black electric holley pump with a boost pressure spring.

Re: BBO on Turbo Boost....Video!
MSD makes a couple of Boost Referenced Ignition Boxes, you could keep the hei and connect one of these and set it to retard timing when under boost.
Whats you head chamber CC.

turbo exhaust outlet 4" splits into dual 2.25" exhaust with 3" Walker Thrush Welded Mufflers.

I was wondering if you have those pictures that you have slideshow in one of your videos uploaded anywhere? So is your setup all mechanical or whatever? No special computer controlling it? That's amazing!
Do you have any pics or info of your setup when you had it rear-mounted?
