Default Quadrajet question

I am in the process of rebuilding a 1968 4bbl 350 Olds engine which came out of a Cutlass. The engine is coming together nicely. I was able to use the original pistons and the crank only needed to be polished. Tolerances are very good as it appears this was a 60,000 mile motor (not 160 like the car looked like it had been through).

My question is about the carb. I thought the motor had the original Quadrajet but the number is 7028251 RJ, which is listed as a 1968 400/455 carb. Were these carbs ever used on 350's? If not, what will I need to make it work on my stock rebuild with headers besides changing the metering rods?

YOu will need no mods to install it. it will work no problem...actually perfect...with headers the carbs tends to need to be richened up...in most cases anyway
