I finally got one of my dreams underway.

Hope I don't get to much criticision but I finally got one of my dreams underway. I am 16 and a half and the proud owner of a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais I bought off a little old lady for 1500 dollars. It has the 3.8 v6 and 212,000 miles on it. I was happy with this until I found out my uncle was selling his 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon. In a move to surprise me, my dad got a cash advance off his credit card and got me the car. The body is horrible on my uncles car (horrible rot in the rear end which is normal from what I've witnessed). BUT my uncle has a 350(w/15k miles), new tranny, 12(?) bolt rear end, 3.73's, and a perfect interior. I smell project . It's sitting in my front lawn and hopefully I will start work swapping things out by next spring. )))

i am happy for ya, u should have no problems since u got 2 whole cars to work with, all the parts u need are stearing u in the face, i wish u luck, dont forget, the front springs will have to be swaped,

Hmmmmmm... heavier springs....sounds like hes dropping a DX in.....
