Default T Top production numbers

I saw on another site a list that claimed 298 T Top 85 Cutlass Salons were sold in Canada. Does anybody know the total overall or just in the US?
My 85 Salon has these along with most of the 442 options, xcept that I have the 3.8L.

That would be hard to say since they were done aftermarket as well as factory.

Go through the GM Heritage Center. I have production numbers on the 1978 model so I am sure they can provide numbers for what you are looking for on factory production. Aftermarket doesn't count. Its like trying to count how many people added a sunroof.

I looked on the GM heratige center's website didn't really find anything.
BTW Mine was done at the factory.
On oldsGmail.com 85 Salons are listed as 17,512 cars, 3000 of those were made into 442's
I'm guessing it would be a fairly low # had T Tops but could be wrong.

So far the search has proven difficult to locate the production numbers.

This guy may be able to help.

You have to contact them directly with the VIN and ID tag info off of your car and pay the $50 or so to have them do the search for you. When I did research on my 78 Cutlass I wanted to find out how many were produced with a 4 speed and t-tops. This is what they came back with just to give you an idea of how they break things down:

240,917 1978 Cutlass Supreme Coupes produced
6,549 were produced with CC1 Removable Roof Panels
0.1% were produced with 4 speed manual transmissions

They even provided me with a copy of the original build sheet and both the T-tops(CC1) and 4 speed(MM4) RPO codes are on the sheet. So that brings me to think that my car is pretty damn rare.
